POSITION PURPOSE |
Reporting to Head -Infrastructure & Integration , Enterprise Technology Group, the incumbent will be responsible for the overall IT Infra Management and cloud computing infrastructure. |

POSITION SPECIFICATION |
Education | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineer, Math or related field or equivalent experience |
Experience | - 7-10 years of experience on IT infra management in Data Center and Cloud.
- 3+ years of Cloud computing experience using publicly available services.
- Experience managing data centre operations, including data assurance, monitoring, alerting and notifications

- Knowledge of the primary AWS and Azure services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3, Cloud Watch, Guard Duty, Cloud Formation)
- Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment
- Strong track record of implementing AWS and Azure services in a variety of distributed computing environments
- Large scale migration experience Data Centre to Cloud
- OPENSHIFT / KUBERNETS / AKS
- Containers - Dockers
- Scripting - PYTHON/RUBY/Power Shell/Bash/ Cloud Formation

Primarily responsible for - - Azure / AWS Platform Management – VPC management, Account management, Resource’s uptime Monitoring & Alerting, Incident Monitoring & Resolution, Performance monitoring and review, Resource optimization, Service Reporting
- OS & DB Management – OS Administration of Servers, Basic Monitoring of OS parameters using cloud native monitoring tools, Cluster Management, Storage Management, OS Patch Management, DB management, Snapshot management
- Security Administration Services – User Management / Azure /AWS Identity & Access Management, Network Access Management, Compliance and Operational auditing, Security Policies Monitoring & Access management auditing, Monitoring of security events with deployed tools (Cloud watch, Guard duty, Cloud Trail)
Key Accountabilities : - Manage operations of the data center, server and switch activity, server power utilization, server capacity planning, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise network and work towards ensuring zero downtime
- Setting up and managing Azure / AWS infrastructure setup and management for SaaS application
- Leading highly available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments
- Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (E.g. shell, Python, Ruby, PowerShell)
- Configuration management using Cloud Formation, Chef & Puppet
- Ensure timely renewals of hardware maintenance contracts and hardware warranty with third party vendors
- Help in resolution of any IT Infrastructure issues by analyzing the issue and taking corrective actions
